We have a nanny!

Yes, it's true.  I've been working way too hard.  I just can't do it all on my own anymore.  We had to get a nanny.  Kinda like the nanny in Peter Pan.  Or should I say Manny.  At first we named her Princess Lulu, but then Chris said she was a boy.  So we named him Runny.  Because we spent 45 minutes the first day running after him.  But other then that... he keeps the kids very entertained.
He's darling, isn't he.  When I first came in with him Olivia was so happy.  She almost shed tears of joy.  I have never seen her so filled with joy.  It was very sweet indeed.

awwww!!! I'm pretty sure little bunnies are one of the cutest things in the world. I need to catch our not-so-little rabbit and bring him back inside for a while tonight.

(And I hate to be a busy body, ut the way the bunny is being held in that bottom picture worries me a bit. As s/he gets bigger, you have to be careful to hold them not curled around like a "C". Their spines aren't made for the pressure like that. They need to be held with their four feet flat on your lap. David's brother had bunnies when they were kids and a neighbor kid accidentally killed one of the bunnies by holding it wrong. Anyways, like I said, sorry to be a worry wart, but I can't help it. www.rabbit.org has all the info you'll ever need.)

I was totally expecting a dog... especially after the Peter Pan reference. That bunny is so sweet! We have a turtle that lives in our courtyard... that's the closest that we are coming to a pet for a while!
