Clara, I hope you have had a delightful birthday! I sure have. I spent the day making this little elephant for you. I'm sorry she'll be late. She has a long journey to make to get to you. She will be loading up on peanuts and setting off tomorrow. I love you little sis!

I got it from a really great book by Joelle Hoverson. It is called Last minute patchwork and quilted gifts. I would highly recommend it. All of the projects are really lovely. For lack of a better word.
